Request for Reconsideration of Access to Llama 3.2 for Academic Research
Hello Meta Llama team,
I hope you are doing well.
I am writing to kindly request a reconsideration of my access request to the Llama 3.2 repository, which was previously rejected.
I am currently a master's student at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, and my research focuses on point-cloud-based programmatic modeling and 3D building reconstruction. I would like to use Llama 3.2 only for non-commercial academic research, including local inference, reproducibility experiments, and parameter-efficient fine-tuning.
I believe my earlier application may not have clearly explained my academic background and research purpose, which may have caused confusion during the review. My intended use is strictly limited to research and learning, and I fully understand and agree to comply with the model license and acceptable use policy.
I would be very grateful if you could kindly review my request again.
